goin' for the cheap laugh

All right, I suppose I haven't been getting in the Valentines spirit. Let's make up for that with a quick online quiz:

You're Perfect ^^
-Perfect- You're the perfect girlfriend. Which
means you're rare or that you cheated :P You're
the kind of chick that can hang out with your
boyfriend's friends and be silly. You don't
care about presents or about going to fancy
placed. Hell, just hang out. You're just happy
being around your boyfriend.

And yet, somehow I think most guys would be disappointed to end up with me.

...perhaps it's the beard.

Bill Gates wouldn't be disappointed apparently...
Since it's so slow at work, here's my test result:

You're a Motherly little Girlfriend
-Motherly- You're the motherly type. You love to
take care of the one you love, and generally
you can be a bit overprotective and possessive,
but you know, that isn't always such a bad
thing. At least you'll be a good mom in the

Of course not.
The biorhythms don't lie. He and I were clearly born for each other.

But you bring up a good point - there are forces in this world we were not meant to comprehend. I know too much now, and should stop playing with these devilish quizzes before something awful happens.

Re: Would you like some motherly advice?
I should be good at dishing out such advice... Hm... Didn't get to discuss the outcome of my test... There were a couple of questions I didn't know how to answer, yet, I hate to say this, but I think I can see myself in that description... Oh dear... But honestly, I'd rather be some kid's cool aunt right now...

As for knowing too much, isn't knowledge power? Ah, but look at Adam and Eve! Yet knowing is half the battle, some say... Oh, but wait, ignorance is bliss...

Actually, I'm too nutty to be someone's mom, let alone give advice to.

it's not so contradictory.
Adam and Eve, Tower of Babel..   Knowledge is power.

When it frightens God to the point of intervention, what else could that be?

...and what's the other half of the battle?

Re: "Now the gods grew quite scared of our strength and defiance..."
Your reply made me immediately think of "The Origin of Love" from "Hedwig and the Angry Inch"... In the song, you have a host of different gods who feared the humans getting more and more powerful. Thor had offered to destroy them with his hammer, but Zeus said that he would handle them. According to the tale in the song, there were three sexes: two men glued back to back, two women glued back to back and man and woman glued back to back.

"Now the gods grew quite scared
Of our strength and defiance
And Thor said 'I'm gonna kill them all with my hammer
Like I killed the giants'
And Zeus said 'No
You better let me use my lightning like scissors
Like I cut the legs off the whales
And dinosaurs into lizards’
Then he grabbed up some bolts
And he let out a laugh
Said 'I'll split them right down the middle
Gonna cut them right up in half'
And the storm clouds gathered above
Into great balls of fire.

And then fire shot down from the sky in bolts
Like shining blades of a knife
And it ripped right through the flesh
Of the children of the sun and the moon
And the earth
And some Indian god sewed the would up
Into a hole
Pulled it 'round to our bellies
To remind us the price we pay
And Osiris and the gods of the nile
Gathered up a big storm
To blow a hurricane
To scatter us away
And a sea of tidal waves
To wash us all away
And if we don't behave
They'll cut us down again
We'll be walking around on one foot
And looking through one eye..."

Heck, I was impressed with 'em. I think the same answers would have labeled me a lousy boyfriend, had the test been that...
