I wanted to join the Comic Writers Forum a while back, but they weren't looking for more members at the time. That seems to have changed, but unfortunately, so has the comic market. I may look them up again someday, but need to focus my efforts on something closer to a career right now.
I've recently joined the International Game Developers Association, but haven't really explored what that means. It's probably nothing like a writers group, actually.
