Wrong answer

Looks like my motherboard needs replacing.

Anyone know what kind of warranty ASUS offers? I can't seem to find that info anywhere on their site.

update
Good News: Their motherboards apparently come standard with a three year warranty.

Bad News: They don't seem to deal directly with end users.

What does this mean?

It means I'll have to put my motherboard in a box, drive it down to the original retailer, and have them mail it back to the manufacturer who will attempt to repair it at their leisure.

Unless someone convinces the retailer to play nice, anyway.

What I'd really like is to just cross-ship a replacement. They send me one that works, I send them this one when that arrives. Less downtime for me, better PR for them. Seems like a sensible alternative, no?

Re: update
ASUS allows cross-shipments to retailers (such as MJP Computers)... Convince your original reseller to cross-ship it.

If they were nice, and your board wasn't old, and it's under their warranty... they should replace it.
