Good
Great news, although I didn't know there was any worry. Please send my regards to her--I'm reminded of her every time I see a musical. :)

Yeah, there was pretty horrendous surgery last week to establish this. It'll probably be another month or so of recovery before she heads back out to the theatre, unfortunately. But considering the alternatives, that's a pretty minor annoyance.

Thank you one and all!
I appreciate the good wishes.

Now as for that "not going to theatre for awhile..." Hmpf! I can't drive, but I CAN sit!!!

So I'm looking for what's coming up in May (when I CAN drive) and the first thing I find is "Bunny, Bunny" which is a memoir about Gilda Radner, who died of -- yes -- Ovarian Cancer (which is what they suspected I had). I haven't made up my mind yet whether I'll be up to this one. :)

If you think that's in line with the doctor's order to take it easy for a while, more power to you. Just get lots of rest!

Bell's twelve and all is well! (The bell really is twelve over here. :) )

Good to hear that, though. I don't think you told me she ever was at a risk of having cancer, but it's a good thing, nonetheless, that she doesn't.

Silly guy -- we're all at risk! I don't think there's a technology invented in the last 50 years which doesn't contribute to that.

But, yeah. She was more at risk than a lot of people. I just didn't see much point in saying anything until we knew for sure...

Well, yeah, point. :) I meant more what you said, anyway.

It is. Thanks!

She's relatively mobile, seems to be recovering from the surgery very smoothly.
