Ipomoea batatas

There are many varieties of Sweet Potato out there, some of which considered edible. My question regards the rest of 'em:
Isn't it wrong to make affirmative comments about the flavor of something in it's title if we're not supposed to eat that thing?
That's all. Go back to what you were doing.

Perhaps, but...
You certainly wouldn't want to drink any light, sweet crude oil, would you?

The word "crude" can make anything sound unappetizing.

Ignoring that... some light sweet oil? I still wouldn't drink it, but it does sound like something I might cook with, or use as a salad dressing. If one were ordering from some sort of bulk catalog, I could see maybe getting that wrong.

So, yeah. I'll say the same rule applies -- items not meant for human consumption should have very different names from their edible counterparts.

Damn. There it is.
I managed to avoid picturing that for a minute, but now the image sunk in and I'll never get the taste out of my mouth.
