Yup. Still old.

I'm 11,111 now.
Next year, I'll be 100,000.

Or 20.

Either way.

Happy 31st birthday.

Kinda figured you'd get it.

This is the last year you can count how old you are on one hand. Enjoy it! Happy birthday!

I don't expect I'll get more than three fingers into the other one. Which is just sloppy. We should have less fingers, or longer lifespans.

Or maybe, rather than question the beauty of God's design, I should just acknowledge that thumbs aren't fingers.

But I can't accept that. They're significant digits!

I'll stop now.

Less enthusiasm, please.

I'm another day closer to death. It's actually a bad thing. =)

Re: hbd2u
Nothing huge.

I'm buyin' me some Star Trek DVDs, and getting Nicholas Meyer (director of II and VI) to sign 'em. There might be some dinner involved, and possibly a concert out that way if people are up for it. Probably not, though - birthdays shouldn't fall midweek if they can help it.

That's it!
There was something about Jan. 27 that I couldn't put my finger on, and now I know what it is! Happy birthday!!!!

Right back at ya! On your own birthday, I mean.

You need one of these
If you don't already have one, that is...

Mixed feelings on that. I'm morally opposed to the old-style analog clocks, or at least continuing to have only those in public schools. I think if it's read as numbers, it should be displayed as numbers. Let the old standard die already.

This would fall under that same category - why obfuscate what's supposed to be simple? But, I'm torn on it, because that clock is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen.

I may have to own it in both colors.

Re: Ooooooh.
My wife got me one of those (the silver one) for Christmas. Yous assessment of its degree of coolnesss is correct, even if it does make me think every time I look at it. (If I want to know the time without thinking, there are plenty of regular digital clocks around.

Not midnight yet - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

And yet, after midnight when I finally logged back in. Which is much cooler, actually - you managed to extend my birthday by a few hours!

Big smiles and stuff.
