Another piece for the portfolio.

Things be hectic. No time to think lately, much less talk about it. And yet, everyone keeps asking.

Made a new picture tonight, though. Wanna see?

Check it out! I mean, you can't actually see them 'cause he's all shrouded in darkness and stuff, but the guy's got proper eyelids. That was a challenge.

Despite the fact I'm going to have nightmares tonight, I say, great job! :)

Very impressive, but too dark to catch the details. But you scared the shit out of Erika when she glanced at my screen!

If you could see the details, you'd be like "hey, neat. eyelids."
Really? Hmm..

You're right. I've got two monitors here. One, he shows up beautifully on. The other, you're mostly seeing splotches of darkest green. Which is the problem with putting graphics up on the web - you never know what it will look like by the time your audience sees it.

That said, the green splotches aren't at all scary, so you're probably seeing him fine. Details are more implied than shown here anyway.
Imagine you're sitting at the campfire swapping ghost stories, and you haven't heard this one before. In fact, you're not even sure where it's going. The storyteller leans across the fire to deliver the final scare, and you suddenly realize you're staring into the eyes of something not quite human...
That's more or less what I was going for. That gut reaction depends on you not being able to fully identify what you're looking at - only that it's looking back.

Hey, neat. Eyelids.
Shows up great on my monitor (it better for what I paid for it...)
It looks great.

One of these days, I'll have to see that monitor.

Incredible, as I expected. Once I get my home wired I'll probably be able to see it better than on this dark screen.
