While I'm thinking about it...

Do any of you here in Ventura have an AOL Free Trial CD lying around?

No matter. Circuit City should have a stack of 'em. Remind me to check in the morning.

(I should have dialup access through my PacBell account, actually. But I think there may be fees for using it. Anyone know the deal on that?)

Pacbell Dial-up
I'm assuming you have pacbell dsl (which is what I use). As far as I know, I'm almost certain there is no extra charge for using dial-up (as long as you are staying in CA), which is included in your service. Go to http://public.pacbell.net and click on dial-up numbers to fins a local number.

If you are going outside CA they have roaming numbers for 4 cents a minute at http://public.pacbell.net/switched/roaming_numbers.html.

As far as aol cd's go, I've got about 50 being used as coasters. Very colorful.
